Public Power Week 2025 Coloring Contest - Now Op

The City of Wakefield invites you to join us in celebrating Public Power Week, October 5-11, along with more than 2,000 other community-powered, not-for-profit electric utilities that collectively provide electricity to 49 million Americans.
Through the Public Power Coloring Contest, we wish to engage students and the community in a way that will enhance interest and understanding of the role that efficient, safe, reliable, and affordable electricity plays in powering our community.
What Are the Rules?
- This contest is open to participants in 1st-4th grade for the Fall of 2025.
- Contestants may only submit one entry.
- Submissions will be accepted through Friday, September 26th.
- The winner will be announced the week of October 5th and notified by email.
The contest winner will receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card and be featured in Currents Magazine!
Submissions must be received by Friday, September 26. Mail or drop off the contest entry form with the completed coloring sheet during business hours to Ashley Tarro- 509 Sunday Lake Street, Wakefield, MI 49968.
The contest entry form and coloring sheet are available as printable PDF documents below. Entry forms and coloring sheets can also be picked up at our office during normal business hours.
